Very friendly staff and wide variety of treatment options. They really take the time to talk you through your treatment options and have multiple different disciplines on staff to help including physical therapists, acupuncturists, and massage therapists. Their scheduling and insurance teams make coordinating appointments extremely as well. Highly recommend.

All the doctors and staff are kind, knowledgeable and they all know your name and do not forget you. I utliized the services 10 years ago but when life happened with me, I reached out and some of same staff was still there! The staff knew who I was immediately. The therapy designed by the doctors and staff has made me feel so much better. I highly recommend them for whatever your medical condition may be, they will make you feel alive!! I love them All!! I came to HARBORSIDE SPORT & SPINE with a terrible back issue. From the moment I walked in the door I knew I was in great hands. The staff here is exceptional. Not only was I rehabilitated; I also learned new exercises and stretches to stay physically strong. I have never been in an office that is run with so much efficiency. I am so grateful for every member of this amazing practice.

I went for my back pain treatment here and found this place really helpful. I am feeling better now. I went there for around 3-4 months twice a week. The staff is really really great. They have enough room and time for patients. I was never unattended. All the sessions were beneficial. They have xray machine, physio machines, chiropractors, small exercise (gym) area, acupuncture, etc. This place is really helpful.

I've received physical therapy over a year for my neck and shoulder pain. The staffs are highly professional and helpful. Dr. Dave explained different stages of treatment and their purposes. I felt much better after the treatment. Marly and Kate are always on top of my treatment schedule and call to remind me of my appointments. Highly recommended!

I had a great experience here, went in with a lower back pain, and was under their consultation for almost four months. They did best to help me overcome my lower back pain with sciatica. Even recommended to a pain management doctor once we exhausted all exercises or chiropractic options. Dr David Sylvester is definitely someome I'd not hesitate to recommend going under care of for such issues, as he is very knowledgeable and honest in his approach. He knows the importance of listening to patience feedback, and modifying the sessions as per patient's need. Plus, the entire chiro/physio team is super caring, and the front desk team, they are the best. Lastly, they're LGBTQ+ friendly.

From the first appointment with Harborside, I knew this place was special. The time I have spent there has made a huge impact on my quality of life. My lower back pain was continuously getting worse and worse, but from the FIRST appointment I had IMMEDIATE relief that I had not felt in years. The doctors, therapists, and staff are so friendly, thorough, and GREAT at what they do. I actually look forward to my sessions because I know I will keep on getting better and better. I would highly recommend the team at Harborside Sport and Spine, I can’t say enough good things about this practice! I have been coming two times a week for PT and Chiropractic care over the last 15 weeks as I’ve been training for the NYC Marathon. They have been a critical part of my recovery and injury prevention. This is more than just your typical chiropractic center. It’s much more. This place has completely blown me away with the level of care, and personal regiment that was created for my unique individual situation to get me on track to feeling great. They not only provide you the short term relief that most chiropractic centers offer, but also the long term relief so you don’t have to rely so much on the short term reliefs. Every one of the staff is super friendly! Special shout out to Michelle, Chris, Abigail for being so helpful and caring! Angelica and Marly are exceptional at reception with always providing warm greetings. And Doctors Dave and Gary are truly exceptional in their craft!Can’t say how much I’m really grateful in words!

After 9 months of debilitating Sciatica that left me in total daily agony, I decided to visit Harborside Sports & Spine. Dr. Phil and Dr. Dave, together with their amazing staff created a treatment plan and implemented it immediately. They applied a variety of treatments that not only helped my healing, but the treatments are super enjoyable and relaxing, and resulted in my first pain-free day in over 9 months. To date, I spent upwards of $9,000 on prescription meds, Specialist visits, physiotherapy, massage therapy, medical devices, etc. to 'fix' my Sciatica and nothing has worked. I realize that 9 months of Sciatica won't be fixed after 5 treatments, but I can finally live again and focus on healing instead trying to just survive each day. Beyond the treatment, the staff is super nice and attentive. I don't know how they manage to remember all of their patient's names, but they do and that makes for a very personable facility.

I recently completed 5 months of rehab after a total knee replacement. Previously I rehabbed after a hip replacement. This place is the absolute best! From Dr. Dave on down, the entire staff is extremely friendly, professional and attentive to whatever you may need. Letty is unbelievable at her job and makes the experience a pleasurable one. And she is an even better person, which says a lot. I would absolutely recommend Harborside for anyone looking to rehab. Great experience all the way around. 5 Stars!!!

Great staff from the front desk to the physical therapists to the doctors. Four weeks ago I was in acute, debilitating pain with numbness in my hands. In 4 weeks of consistent visits they have gotten rid of the numbness completely and relieved me of chronic pain. Highly recommend

I've had PT before but was looking for a more holistic approach. Harborside provides not only PT but chiropractic, massage and acupuncture. The staff is efficient, kind and very professional. I have a shoulder issue requiring long-term care and I feel confident I'm in very good hands!

It was my first experience with a chiropractor & I must say, Harborside turned out to be a great bet. Couple of my friends recommended their practice for my back troubles after their own positive experience & I have nothing but excellent things to say about them. Firstly, I felt safe visiting thrice a week for my therapy with all the precautions they have in place to check temperatures on entry, social distancing & sterilizing equipment surfaces after each use. The first consultation session was so great with Dr. Dave explaining in layman terms the issues I needed to work on, why & how they would go about it. The therapy sessions that followed were great too; I felt completely at ease with all the doctors & staff, who are very friendly. I intend to keep going in on & off even after my therapy is over to stay on track with my recovery.

My sister recommended Harborside sport for chiropractic. I have had bad back and neck pain for few years now. Dr. David and his team are amazing! Dr. David took time to listen to my concerns and has came up with a back and neck pain management plan. Front desk staff knows you by your name and are always welcoming!

I have been going to Harborside Sport & Spine since Feb 2020 and this review is end of July 2020. I have had chronic lower back pain and associated troubles from a sports injury for the last 15 years or so, necessitating frequent PT, chiropractic and massage treatments. The differentiator in the treatment philosophy here was a) initial & periodic diagnostics to check progress, b) integrated treatment plan with adjustments, PT, massage and acupuncture. I can certainly feel steady improvements over time and feel optimistic that I may finally be able to get permanent relief from my conditions at the end of the treatment course. The staff here is absolutely fantastic, each and every one of them, being very professional, friendly and genuinely caring! While initially when the offices reopened and the present risk of catching the in fashion flu from a public space, my pain got the better of me and I resumed treatment in May. To address current public health concerns, the offices maintain standards of social distancing between patients, thorough wipe downs of surfaces and PPE. It certainly feels as safe as can be. Overall an excellent 5 star treatment facility and practitioners! Highly recommended.

I've been coming here now for a little under three years and I have never experienced anything other than professionalism personified and a family atmosphere. It says a lot that while they don't take my insurance I would prefer to come here due to the high level of empathy and knowledge of the human body. (They do, however, offer packages for multiple visits so 10 visits get billed at a discount.) l can safely credit the chiropractors of HarborsIde (Dr Pfilzer, et. Al) for having restored my lower back which was an absolute mess the first time I began treatment there and introducing me to stretching techniques I was then unaware of.

I've been coming here for 7 years. This is a terrific practice for both chiropractic and physical therapy. Everyone from the chiropractors themselves to the PTs, techs, massage therapists and girls at the desk are top notch! You are treated with direct care pertaining to your needs. I've been to a number of chiropractic practices and this one is a cut above the rest. You can really tell they are meticulous in only hiring the best...everyone truly cares about your well-being. If you are googling, or yelping, which Chiro to go to in jersey city and are not sure which to choose (I've been there many times with this issue) - this place is the choice you should definitely make. You will not be disappointed!

I've been getting treatment here for a week and I feel great. I recently moved to Jersey City and had been to previous chiropractors but this place is fantastic. They are very comprehensive and efficient. I was able to get x-rays, adjustment, stretching, massage, and STEM therapy all at one location. All the staff are very knowledgeable and super sweet!

Lately, I'd been experiencing problems with my neck and a few with my back. Coming here has helped me tremendously. They do great work and the machines used here are super effective. As some of the pictures show, they have a big weight room with plenty of various-weight dumbbells and several machines that help work and stretch whatever part of you requires attention. They have this great waterbed simulator that heats up and feels like giant bubbles are popping on your back and your neck. There is also another machine where you lay down on your back and what feels to be a giant rolling pin goes completely over your entire back and neck. On top of the effectiveness of their treatments, the staff is beyond friendly. I'm always greeted with a warm smile and a sincere "how has your neck been feeling"? Michelle, Dominic and Kay are soooo sweet. I don't think I've ever seen someone so happy to be at work! Their kindness contributes greatly to the enjoyment of my appointments. Along with the receptionists, the doctors are also super nice. Dr. Todd is my favorite. He does most of my adjustments and they've all been pain-free. He take's his time with you which I really appreciate. He's very conversational and pleasant. Dr. Todd, Dr. Dave, Al, and everyone else at Harborside does everything that they can to make you feel welcome and comfortable. They're nothing like the people you'd find at your average chiropractor office. You feel like you're a part of this tight nit family. It's a good feeling. 5 stars indeed!!

I had chiropractic treatment in the past with very little results. But after meeting Dr. Sylvester I knew Harborside was a different clinic. When I started the treatment I was really worried about my condition and was not expecting results. But after a month of treatment, the pain and inflammation are already gone. But that is not the only best part. The Harborside staff members are really amazing and so friendly. They really make you feel comfortable. Kay and Michelle in the front desk always greeted me with a big smile and always understood when I am was running late or needed to change appointments. Dr. Filzer and his team worked wonders during therapeutic exercises and were extremely patient. If that wasn't enough they worked with me and my insurance to make it all work out so the treatment is not a burden. I do not recall the last time I went to a doctor's office and was treated more than a file folder. I HIGHLY recommend Harborside Sport and Spine.

I've been going to Harborside Sport and Spine for several years now, and I've got to say, the entire staff is like an extension of my family. The people are friendly here, and they genuinely care about your well being and your health. Dr. Dave Sylvester is an awesome guy. He's very easy going and receptive to finding out what your aches and pains are, and provides good feedback on what you can do to alleviate that pain outside of his office. In terms of treatment, he is receptive to what your comfort level is with spinal adjustments and bone popping. I've been popping my joints my whole life... I've got unusual muscle tightness everywhere, and popping everything back into place is my ideal form of relief. I have recommended co-workers who have gone to see Dr. Dave who are not so comfortable with the adjustments, and the great thing is that he doesn't get offended or takes anything personally, understands that they're not so comfortable with it, and he'll recommend an alternative method of loosening up their backs. In terms of the support staff, what can I say? Each and every one of them is so welcoming. From the second you walk in the door, either Wendy or Kay will great you with a warm smile and ask you how you're doing... When you get treatment from the physical therapists Letty, Sio, or Megan, they'll help you settle in and adjust the machines to your comfort level. And my girl Stacy, man, she is a lifesaver! She is the masseuse there on Wednesdays and Thursdays, and every time I go there, she's able to knead and squeeze out all the muscle tension that I accumulate over the week. Everyone in the office jokes that I just go there to take a nap, because 80% of the time, I'll pass out and start snoring on the table. In a way, I think that passing out is really the highest order of compliment that I can give masseuse, I come in with a full weekload of stress in my neck, my shoulders, my back, and in that 20 minute session, I'm relaxed and snoozing like a baby. If that isn't a miracle, I don't know what is. For those of you who don't have Wednesdays or Thursdays free, Jasmine works Mondays and Tuesdays. She specializes in deep tissue massage, which is a rigorous, sometimes semi-painful (but the good kind) kneading that really gets down to the bone and just bazookas away any of the muscle tightness that you've got. People are afraid to go to the chiropractor sometimes because they think they'll get addicted to the adjustments and your spine will never sit right again if you do it too much. It's true that you may never be healed of your back pain. If you're looking for that, I think you're asking too much. For me, as a long time patient, I've seen improvement in how my back feels on a normal day. It doesn't ache as much. I find my posture a bit better. I don't pop my own joints as much. I see my sessions with Dr Dave and the rest of a team as a weekly tune-up that helps me relieve some of the pressure that builds up over time. That in itself is completely worth it. I give these guys 5 stars wholeheartedly. PS the office is expanding, more appointments will be available, go get a free consultation, free massage, tell them Joe sent you. I promise Dr Dave isn't a pushy kind of guy who will force you to come back. You'll just want to come back on your own.

I went for my back pain treatment here and found this place really helpful. I am feeling better now. I went there for around 3-4 months twice a week. The staff is really really great. They have enough room and time for patients. I was never unattended. All the sessions were beneficial. They have xray machine, physio machines, chiropractors, small exercise (gym) area, acupuncture, etc. This place is really helpful.

I had a great experience here, went in with a lower back pain, and was under their consultation for almost four months. They did best to help me overcome my lower back pain with sciatica. Even recommended to a pain management doctor once we exhausted all exercises or chiropractic options. Dr David Sylvester is definitely someome I'd not hesitate to recommend going under care of for such issues, as he is very knowledgeable and honest in his approach. He knows the importance of listening to patience feedback, and modifying the sessions as per patient's need. This is more than just your typical chiropractic center. It’s much more. This place has completely blown me away with the level of care, and personal regiment that was created for my unique individual situation to get me on track to feeling great. They not only provide you the short term relief that most chiropractic centers offer, but also the long term relief so you don’t have to rely so much on the short term reliefs. After 9 months of debilitating Sciatica that left me in total daily agony, I decided to visit Harborside Sports & Spine. Dr. Phil and Dr. Dave, together with their amazing staff created a treatment plan and implemented it immediately. They applied a variety of treatments that not only helped my healing, but the treatments are super enjoyable and relaxing, and resulted in my first pain-free day in over 9 months. To date, I spent upwards of $9,000 on prescription meds, Specialist visits, physiotherapy, massage therapy, medical devices, etc. to 'fix' my Sciatica and nothing has worked. I realize that 9 months of Sciatica won't be fixed after 5 treatments, but I can finally live again and focus on healing instead trying to just survive each day. Beyond the treatment, the staff is super nice and attentive. I don't know how they manage to remember all of their patient's names, but they do and that makes for a very personable facility.

I recently completed 5 months of rehab after a total knee replacement. Previously I rehabbed after a hip replacement. This place is the absolute best! It was my first experience with a chiropractor & I must say, Harborside turned out to be a great bet. Couple of my friends recommended their practice for my back troubles after their own positive experience & I have nothing but excellent things to say about them. Firstly, I felt safe visiting thrice a week for my therapy with all the precautions they have in place to check temperatures on entry, social distancing & sterilizing equipment surfaces after each use. The first consultation session was so great with Dr. Dave explaining in layman terms the issues I needed to work on, why & how they would go about it. The therapy sessions that followed were great too; I felt completely at ease with all the doctors & staff, who are very friendly. I intend to keep going in on & off even after my therapy is over to stay on track with my recovery.

I have been going to Harborside Sport & Spine since Feb 2020 and this review is end of July 2020. I have had chronic lower back pain and associated troubles from a sports injury for the last 15 years or so, necessitating frequent PT, chiropractic and massage treatments. The differentiator in the treatment philosophy here was a) initial & periodic diagnostics to check progress, b) integrated treatment plan with adjustments, PT, massage and acupuncture. I can certainly feel steady improvements over time and feel optimistic that I may finally be able to get permanent relief from my conditions at the end of the treatment course. The staff here is absolutely fantastic, each and every one of them, being very professional, friendly and genuinely caring! While initially when the offices reopened and the present risk of catching the in fashion flu from a public space, my pain got the better of me and I resumed treatment in May. To address current public health concerns, the offices maintain standards of social distancing between patients, thorough wipe downs of surfaces and PPE. It certainly feels as safe as can be. Overall an excellent 5 star treatment facility and practitioners! Highly recommended.

I've been coming here now for a little under three years and I have never experienced anything other than professionalism personified and a family atmosphere. It says a lot that while they don't take my insurance I would prefer to come here due to the high level of empathy and knowledge of the human body. (They do, however, offer packages for multiple visits so 10 visits get billed at a discount.) l can safely credit the chiropractors of HarborsIde (Dr Pfilzer, et. Al) for having restored my lower back which was an absolute mess the first time I began treatment there and introducing me to stretching techniques I was then unaware of.

I've been coming here for 7 years. This is a terrific practice for both chiropractic and physical therapy. Everyone from the chiropractors themselves to the PTs, techs, massage therapists and girls at the desk are top notch! You are treated with direct care pertaining to your needs. I've been to a number of chiropractic practices and this one is a cut above the rest. You can really tell they are meticulous in only hiring the best...everyone truly cares about your well-being. If you are googling, or yelping, which Chiro to go to in jersey city and are not sure which to choose (I've been there many times with this issue) - this place is the choice you should definitely make. Lately, I'd been experiencing problems with my neck and a few with my back. Coming here has helped me tremendously. They do great work and the machines used here are super effective. As some of the pictures show, they have a big weight room with plenty of various-weight dumbbells and several machines that help work and stretch whatever part of you requires attention. They have this great waterbed simulator that heats up and feels like giant bubbles are popping on your back and your neck. There is also another machine where you lay down on your back and what feels to be a giant rolling pin goes completely over your entire back and neck. On top of the effectiveness of their treatments, the staff is beyond friendly. I'm always greeted with a warm smile and a sincere "how has your neck been feeling"? Michelle, Dominic and Kay are soooo sweet. I don't think I've ever seen someone so happy to be at work! Their kindness contributes greatly to the enjoyment of my appointments. Along with the receptionists, the doctors are also super nice. Dr. Todd is my favorite. He does most of my adjustments and they've all been pain-free. He take's his time with you which I really appreciate. He's very conversational and pleasant. Dr. Todd, Dr. Dave, Al, and everyone else at Harborside does everything that they can to make you feel welcome and comfortable. They're nothing like the people you'd find at your average chiropractor office. You feel like you're a part of this tight nit family. It's a good feeling. 5 stars indeed!!

The staff is so flexible with scheduling that it makes it easy to fit into my hectic schedule. I honestly can't say enough good things about Dr. Dave and his staff!

I had chiropractic treatment in the past with very little results. But after meeting Dr. Sylvester I knew Harborside was a different clinic. When I started the treatment I was really worried about my condition and was not expecting results. But after a month of treatment, the pain and inflammation are already gone. But that is not the only best part. The Harborside staff members are really amazing and so friendly. They really make you feel comfortable. Kay and Michelle in the front desk always greeted me with a big smile and always understood when I am was running late or needed to change appointments. Dr. Filzer and his team worked wonders during therapeutic exercises and were extremely patient. If that wasn't enough they worked with me and my insurance to make it all work out so the treatment is not a burden. I do not recall the last time I went to a doctor's office and was treated more than a file folder. I HIGHLY recommend Harborside Sport and Spine.

I've been going to Harborside Sport and Spine for several years now, and I've got to say, the entire staff is like an extension of my family. The people are friendly here, and they genuinely care about your well being and your health. Dr. Dave Sylvester is an awesome guy. He's very easy going and receptive to finding out what your aches and pains are, and provides good feedback on what you can do to alleviate that pain outside of his office. In terms of treatment, he is receptive to what your comfort level is with spinal adjustments and bone popping. I've been popping my joints my whole life... I've got unusual muscle tightness everywhere, and popping everything back into place is my ideal form of relief. I have recommended co-workers who have gone to see Dr. Dave who are not so comfortable with the adjustments, and the great thing is that he doesn't get offended or takes anything personally, understands that they're not so comfortable with it, and he'll recommend an alternative method of loosening up their backs. In terms of the support staff, what can I say? Each and every one of them is so welcoming. From the second you walk in the door, either Wendy or Kay will great you with a warm smile and ask you how you're doing... When you get treatment from the physical therapists Letty, Sio, or Megan, they'll help you settle in and adjust the machines to your comfort level. And my girl Stacy, man, she is a lifesaver! She is the masseuse there on Wednesdays and Thursdays, and every time I go there, she's able to knead and squeeze out all the muscle tension that I accumulate over the week. Everyone in the office jokes that I just go there to take a nap, because 80% of the time, I'll pass out and start snoring on the table. In a way, I think that passing out is really the highest order of compliment that I can give masseuse, I come in with a full weekload of stress in my neck, my shoulders, my back, and in that 20 minute session, I'm relaxed and snoozing like a baby. If that isn't a miracle, I don't know what is. For those of you who don't have Wednesdays or Thursdays free, Jasmine works Mondays and Tuesdays. She specializes in deep tissue massage, which is a rigorous, sometimes semi-painful (but the good kind) kneading that really gets down to the bone and just bazookas away any of the muscle tightness that you've got. People are afraid to go to the chiropractor sometimes because they think they'll get addicted to the adjustments and your spine will never sit right again if you do it too much. It's true that you may never be healed of your back pain. If you're looking for that, I think you're asking too much. For me, as a long time patient, I've seen improvement in how my back feels on a normal day. It doesn't ache as much. I find my posture a bit better. I don't pop my own joints as much. I see my sessions with Dr Dave and the rest of a team as a weekly tune-up that helps me relieve some of the pressure that builds up over time. That in itself is completely worth it. I give these guys 5 stars wholeheartedly. PS the office is expanding, more appointments will be available, go get a free consultation, free massage, tell them Joe sent you. I promise Dr Dave isn't a pushy kind of guy who will force you to come back. You'll just want to come back on your own.

I had a great experience with Harborside Sport and Spine. They have all of the tools to heal you fast ... Decompression, physical therapy, Electric Stimulation, and adjustment. They get to know their clients fast and care about your healing process!
