POSITION SUMMARY: A behavioral health professional, licensed to practice independently, providing comprehensive psychiatric services to patients of all ages in a virtual outpatient setting. Our providers focus primarily on patient's care and our back-office support teams handle billing, collections, and credentialing etc.This allows our clinicians time to be spent where it should be, with their patients. Professional communication with providers and others within the organization is essential.

POSITION TITLE: Therapist

LOCATION: Remote (Specifically: Florida, Pennsylvania and Ohio)

TERMS: Contract

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Master's degree in psychology or counseling (e.g., MA, MS, MSW, MFT, MHC) from an accredited program.
• An unrestricted license in the state where you reside (e.g., LCSW, LMFT, LPCC) from the United States.
• Licensed independently for at least 1 year.
• Ability to maintain complete confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
• Adaptable to technology, including telehealth software and comfortable with video communication; Ability to trouble-shoot common technical issues.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct virtual/remote video visits with patients.
• Encourage clients to express their feelings and discuss what is happening in their lived and help them to develop insight into themselves and their relationships.
• Guide clients in the development of skills and strategies for dealing with their problems.
• Prepare and maintain all required treatment records and reports.
• Counsel clients and patients, individually and in group sessions, to assist in overcoming dependencies, adjusting to life, and making changes.
• Collect information about clients through interviews, observation, and tests.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of counseling programs and clients' progress in resolving identified problems and moving towards defined objectives.
