POSITION SUMMARY: A behavioral health professional providing comprehensive psychiatric services to patients of all ages in a virtual outpatient setting. Our providers focus primarily on patient's care and our back-office support teams handle billing, collections, and credentialing etc. This allows our clinicians time to be spent where it should be, with their patients. Professional communication with providers and others within the organization is essential.

LOCATION: Remote (Specifically: Florida, Pennsylvania and Ohio)

TERMS: Contract

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Board eligible or certified in Psychiatry. Subspecialties may be considered. Multistate licensure preferred.
• Ability to obtain active and unrestricted license to practice medicine and DEA number.
• Excellent clinical knowledge and communication skills.

• Ability to maintain complete confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
• Adaptable to technology, including telehealth software and comfortable with video communication; Ability to trouble-shoot common technical issues.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct virtual/remote video visits with patients.
• Performs psychiatric evaluation and diagnosis of adult and pediatric clients with a wide array of acute and /or chronic psychiatric disorders.
• Utilizes knowledge of psychiatric disorders and their treatment, psychodynamic issues, normal growth and development, family dynamics and counseling skills to plan a comprehensive plan of treatment to suit the client's needs.
• When indicated, prescribes, and provides ongoing management of psychotropic medications for the treatment of psychiatric disorders.
• Orders lab work and other diagnostic tests as indicated as part of the diagnostic evaluation or ongoing management of the client.
• Timely and quality documentation.
